Botley - Programmable Robot STEM

Botley encourages children in a basic form of coding through step-by-step coding and logic. Promoting early programming skills develops critical thinking and problem-solving skills in young learners. Children can easily program Botley to perform a variety of actions: move forward (one step at a time), turn left, turn right, move backward (one step at a time), detect objects, avoid objects, make a sound, and loop to repeat a step or sequence. Children can program up to 80 steps in one sequence. Once a sequence is programmed, press 'transmit' and watch Botley roll!

One of Botley's unique features is the smart logic with the object detection function. Botley has LED lights on the top indicating the direction of each step and a special sensor underneath, allowing it to follow a bold black line. This set includes Botley The Coding Robot, an easy-to-use remote control, detachable robot arms, and 40 coding cards. We encourage children to lay out the coding cards in their desired sequence before programming Botley. This helps them plan and visualize Botley's path.

Detachable robot arms enable Botley to move objects. Botley measures 13cm wide, 7cm high, and 8.5cm deep. Botley requires 3 AAA batteries and the remote control requires 2 AAA batteries (not included). The multilingual activity guide contains a variety of activity ideas.
