Fall Mat

The Senso-Care fall mat is designed with a focus on safety and comfort for patients and residents at high risk of falling or rolling out of bed. This mat is an essential medical device that absorbs up to 75% of the impact from a fall, significantly reducing the risk of injury.

The top side of the fall mat consists of a layer of EVA foam covered with durable synthetic leather, made from 75% polyethersulfone and 25% cotton, providing a comfortable and safe surface. The bottom is made from 100% polyethersulfone with a 100% PVC coating, giving the mat anti-slip properties and ensuring it stays firmly in place. A unique feature of this fall mat is the integrated reinforcement on the bottom, which prevents the edges from curling and ensures the mat remains completely flat even with prolonged use.

Furthermore, the mat is fire-retardant according to BS 5852-EN1021-2 standards and has a light gray color that makes marks less visible and reduces the perception of a "black hole," adding to the patient's comfort. The sloping edges of the mat make it easy for patients to get on and off, and the high density of the foam provides extra balance while standing or walking on the mat.

The fall mat is also practical to use. It is tri-fold and equipped with a handle, making it easy to store. The dimensions of the unfolded mat are 182 cm in length, 98 cm in width, and 2.5 cm in height, while the folded dimensions are 65 cm in length, 98 cm in width, and 8 cm in height. Weighing just 3.1 kg, the fall mat is easy to move and handle.

Cleaning the fall mat is simple; it can be cleaned with a liquid disinfectant and a soft cloth, followed by wiping down with a clean water cloth. It is important not to use disinfectants or cleaning products containing phenol to maintain the quality of the material.
