With its unique design made from a soft, comfortable, latex-free, stretchable cotton strap, the HandiWriter helps children achieve the 'Tripod Grip' or three-point grip - a finger formation that can significantly contribute to improving handwriting and letter formation. The satin cord with the charming dolphin pendant makes it more attractive for children to learn to write and promotes the correct pen grip.
Using the HandiWriter is simple: wrap the larger part of the band around the wrist and the smaller part around the writing utensil. Place the pendant in the palm and hold it with the little and ring finger. When the thumb, index finger, and middle finger then hold the pencil, the correct pen grip is automatically created. It can also be used with many of the pen thickeners now available.
