Mitty Care

The Mitty Care is an anti-pick mitt, which is padded on both sides, which prevents patients from removing their medical equipment. An anti-plucking mitten is a milder alternative to a wrist fixation. Thanks to the inspection opening, you can easily check the hand from time to time without having to remove the mitten. Furthermore, by opening the mitten you can check whether picking, grabbing or scratching behavior is still occurring. The opening also makes it easier to apply the mitt to the patient. The Mitty Care anti-pick mitt is especially suitable for patients who do not consciously grab, pick, scratch or pull out lines. Think of a patient/resident in, for example, a postoperative situation or in, for example, the intensive care unit, stroke unit, rehabilitation and/or neurology department.
