Number stack "Number on number", 34 pieces, Montessori colours

With this set, children will learn the numbers from 1 to 10 and estimate their value. The numbers made from RE-Wood® are large enough for pupils to easily use them. The material and surface is pleasant to the touch and the special shape ensures a secure hold and makes stacking easier. The numbers are deliberately portrayed in Montessori colours.

The numbers are designed so that their size in relation to one another is always the same. The 2 and 3 figures put together are the same size as the 5 figure, and, when put together, the 3 numbers are the same height as the 10 figure.

The value of each figure corresponds to its actual size. For example, the 4 figure is 4 cm tall and 9 figure is 9 cm. A great way of self-controlling all stack numbers using the accompanying control ruler!

The built-in groove along the entire surface of the number makes tracing with fingers or a pen easier so that the numbers can be anchored into the pupil's mind. Balls can be placed inside the groove to represent the number value in this way.

The figures are not only suitable for learning numbers to sort them or for basic arithmetic; the numbers and their values can be compared with one another and numbers broken down for clarity. Since the number corresponds to the height of the figure, calculations can be measured using the ruler and checked.

Children will enjoy building new number stacks and finding out which other numbers they can use to build stacks.
