Pythagoras Board

The Pythagoras Board is an engaging and educational tool that helps children playfully discover the basics of multiplication. Inspired by the famous Pythagoras theory (a² + b² = c²), this board offers a visual representation of multiplication, enabling children to intuitively understand how mathematics works. Pythagoras of Samos, the namesake of this board, was not only a Greek philosopher and astronomer but also an influential mathematician who formulated principles that remain relevant today.

Using the Pythagoras Board is simple and intuitive. Each child picks a wooden number tile and thinks of a multiplication problem that leads to this number. Then, the child places the tile on the correct spot on the board. This process not only encourages memorization of the tables but also understanding of multiplication sequences and basic mathematical principles.

The set includes a wooden board with 100 squares, a box with a lid, and 100 wooden tiles with the outcomes of the tables from 1 to 10. A separately available control chart enables independent verification of the work.
