Users can wear the vest as a compression vest without weights or as a weighted compression vest, depending on their needs. When Aviva, the founder and occupational therapist of Fun & Function, could not find a weighted compression vest for her children, she designed one herself. This compression vest was the first Fun and Function product and remains one of their bestsellers.

The steady proprioceptive input and compression around the torso are especially soothing for individuals with sensory challenges. With stretchable neoprene for a snug, comfortable fit, mesh sides for breathability, it's no wonder this vest is a bestseller! The unisex design conforms to body shape, and the sizes range from XXS with a chest circumference of 51 cm to XL with a chest circumference of 104 to 117 cm. For an authentic fit of the compression vest, it is recommended to choose a vest that is 5-10 cm smaller than the wearer's body circumference.

Made by Fun & Function, this weighted compression vest comes with removable weights in inner pockets and adjustable fit at the shoulders and sides for a precisely right sensory experience. The vest is 100% neoprene with 100% polyester mesh sides, inner pockets, and Velcro closures, and is machine washable. The removable weights are 100% cotton filled with steel pellets and can be air-dried. Includes vest and 2 lbs. (900 grams) of weight for all sizes except XX-Small, which has a weight of 1 lb (450 grams).

Measurements shown reflect the size of the vest. To measure circumference, lift arms slightly and measure around the widest part of the body. Measurements are in centimeters.

XXS: chest size 51 cm.
XS: chest size 53 - 69 cm.
S: chest size 58 - 76 cm.
M: chest size 74 - 94 cm.
L: chest size 86 - 102 cm.
XL: chest size 104 - 117 cm.

For a true compression vest fit, we recommend choosing a vest that is 5-10 cm smaller than the wearer’s body circumference. Please note that the vest is meant to be very snug, though it should never be uncomfortable. If a snug fit isn't for you, choose a vest with a circumference that matches the wearer’s body. Note these vests are adjustable, so measurements don’t need to correspond exactly. When in doubt, it’s recommended to size up.
