Air-quality gauge CO2 "Plus"

Scientists believe that lowering CO₂ concentrations indoors (mainly caused through exhalation), reduces the risk of infection via aerosols that carry viruses. To reduce the risk of aerosol-based transmission, lots of fresh air is required.

This device can be used in any classroom to help maintain pupil concentration and reduce the risk of potential infection.
It monitors CO₂ concentration levels, room temperature and humidity indoors and has an illuminated display in traffic-light colours to show at a glance whether these values are in the green range, or if action is required.

The fresher the air, the better pupils will perform. By ventilating regularly, you can prevent headaches, dizziness and tiredness while also lowering the risk of infection. This CO₂ gauge shows the air temperature, humidity and CO₂ levels, and retains a history of average values over the previous 24 h.

The background illumination of the display can assume a signalling function: it changes from green to amber and ultimately to red depending on the relevant CO₂ concentration levels. This means you can tell immediately how stale the air is in a staffroom or classroom and you can ensure a healthy atmosphere through optimal ventilation. Alternatively, you can configure the display to only light up if a particular CO₂ value is exceeded (alarm function), it can be permanently lit up in one colour, or the illumination can be turned off completely. This means pupils will not be distracted, e.g. in examination conditions, but the air quality in the room can still be monitored.

As well as boosting concentration, this device helps you will improve your health and that of your pupils. Stuffy, stale air contains more aerosols and thus increases the risk of infection from viral illness. With regular ventilation and by supplying fresh air, you can combat this effect whatever the season.

This CO₂ gauge is supplied with a USB cable, which makes it easy to plug in to a laptop or power supply. If it is plugged in to a power bank, it can even be used as a mobile device, which you can use to show pupils the difference in CO₂ levels inside and outside. The little feet ensure excellent stability. Thanks to its compact size, the device is inconspicuous and will not be distracting.
