Air-quality gauge CO2 "Compact"

Scientists believe that lowering CO₂ concentrations indoors (mainly caused through exhalation), reduces the risk of infection via aerosols that carry viruses. To reduce the risk of aerosol-based transmission, lots of fresh air is required.

This discreet little device can be used in any classroom to help maintain pupil concentration and reduce the risk of potential infection. It monitors CO₂ concentration levels and room temperature indoors and has a green/amber/red LED display to show at a glance whether these values are in the green range, or if action is required.

The fresher the air, the better pupils will perform. By ventilating regularly, you can prevent headaches, dizziness and tiredness while also lowering the risk of infection. This CO₂ gauge alternates between displaying air temperature and CO₂ levels, and the coloured LED lights switch from green to amber to red depending on the air quality. This means you can tell immediately how stale the air is in a staffroom or classroom and you can ensure a healthy atmosphere through optimal ventilation.

As well as boosting concentration, you will improve the health of your pupils. Stuffy, stale air contains more aerosols and thus increases the risk of infection from viral illness. With regular ventilation and by supplying fresh air, you can combat this effect whatever the season.

This CO₂ gauge is supplied with a USB cable, which makes it easy to plug in to a laptop or power supply. If it is plugged in to a power bank, it can even be used as a mobile device, which you can use to show pupils the difference in CO₂ levels inside and outside. The little feet ensure excellent stability. Thanks to its compact size, the device is inconspicuous and will not be distracting.
