Conductive Plates

Conductive material plates, an innovative tool from our Montessori Premium range, are designed to promote the development of the ability to distinguish thermal properties such as warm, cool, and cold. This set is an excellent choice for educational and therapeutic applications, offering a unique opportunity to experience and organize temperature differences.

These plates are manufactured to isolate the heat-conducting properties of various surfaces, making them perfect for refining the ability to recognize surface temperatures. The activity, designed to be performed with closed or tied eyes, encourages the user to focus on the sense of touch rather than visual observations, creating a unique sensory experience.

The set consists of a wooden box, divided into 5 compartments, and contains five pairs of plates measuring 8 x 4 cm, made of stone, glass, cork, wood, and metal. This diversity of materials provides different temperature sensations and is an excellent tool for comparing, describing, and learning about temperatures, simultaneously enhancing hand sensitivity and contributing to vocabulary expansion.

The product offers various learning opportunities:

• Investigating materials in the room for their heat-conducting properties.
