The addition strip board in a wooden frame is an educational tool designed to help children learn the fundamentals of addition in a visual and structured way. Inspired by Montessori principles, this material allows children to independently practice and understand all addition problems involving units, including mastering the "tens transition." Using the strip board, children not only learn how to add numbers but also how to break them down, deepening their understanding of mathematical concepts.

The set includes a sturdy board with 12 by 18 fields, horizontally marked with the numbers 1 to 18. Together with the 18 colorful strips, 9 red and 9 blue, children can systematically practice all possible addition combinations between 1 and 9. The red strips are divided into squares to visually indicate when the tens are exceeded, making complex sums easier to comprehend. The blue strips are continuous and provide a clear overview during the calculations. Both sets are numbered from 1 to 9, allowing children to follow a structured approach to their exercises.

This learning material offers numerous opportunities, such as automating addition problems and improving the understanding of the tens transition. Through repeated practice, children gradually memorize the addition tables and can independently solve problems, with the final result easily visible on the board. The red and blue strips are placed on the left and right sides of the board, respectively, making the buildup of the sums clear.

The strip board is made from MDF and embedded in a beautifully crafted wooden frame, ensuring a durable and appealing finish. The wooden storage box holds all 18 numbered strips, so everything can be neatly stored away after use. With this material, children not only develop their math skills but also enhance their ability to work independently and solve problems.

The dimensions of the strip board are approximately 43 x 33 cm, the storage box measures 20 x 6 x 2.5 cm, and the wooden strips are 2 cm wide, with variable lengths depending on the number.
