These beautifully crafted metal Fraction Circles are not only a feast for the eyes but also encourage children to engage with them. They offer a hands-on approach to learning essential mathematical concepts such as the naming of individual fractions, the concept of equivalence, arithmetic operations, measuring angles, and conversion to decimal numbers. After about three hours of lessons, once the child has grasped the naming of parts and the concept of equivalence, the educational facilitator can move on to more complex topics such as arithmetic operations, angles, and decimal numbers.

Our Fraction Circles are designed not only to teach children about fractions and how to calculate with them but also to invite them to independently lay out and supplement fractions, a skill that is essential for their mathematical development. With the dimensions of the insert frames at about 13 x 13 cm and circles with a diameter of about 10 cm, this set offers the perfect size for young hands to work with.

The set includes 10 metal insert frames and 55 metal fractional parts with a knob (ranging from 1/1 to 10/10), making this an extensive set that enables children to visualize and apply the concepts they are learning.
