Hearing Cylinders

Enrich the sensory experience of children with our Hearing Cylinders, an essential part of the Montessori Premium collection. These hearing cylinders are not just a means of entertainment, but also make a significant contribution to the development of hearing and cognitive skills in young children.

The material consists of twelve wooden cylinders, six with a red and six with a blue cap. The cylinders, filled with various materials, create unique sounds when shaken that vary in volume. Children are challenged to observe and distinguish sound differences, contributing to the refinement of their hearing ability. This is crucial for both language development and musical education.

The exercises with the Hearing Cylinders are versatile. Children learn by listening and finding the matching sound pairs, thereby training their auditory memory and concentration. These activities are particularly effective for children with concentration problems; by excluding visual stimuli, they focus entirely on hearing.

The dimensions of the wooden box are approximately 12.5 x 10.2 x 9 cm, and each wooden cylinder measures approximately 8.5 cm in height and 2.5 cm in diameter. Each set consists of two wooden boxes with a red and a blue lid, and a total of 12 wooden cylinders.
