Token game without chips

With this typical Montessori material, the children receive a visual aid if they are adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing up to 10,000. On a wooden board with four vertical columns, the coloured chips that you can label or inscribe are inserted into the corresponding columns as symbols of the number (E=green, Z=blue, H=red, T=green). When the value is exceeded at the latest, the 10th chip will no longer fit perfectly into the column and the ten chips have to be exchanged for a chip in the next highest value. At the end of the exchange, the result is visible.
