ARK Therapeutic introduces the "Amsterdammertje" - the ultimate chewing jewelry for both children and adults who feel the need to chew. The Amsterdammertje, better known as ARK's Bite Saber®, is not only super cool to wear but also safe and effective for those who require chewing stimulation.
Measuring 10 cm in length and just over a centimeter in diameter, it's perfectly designed to reach the back molars - where chewing is most needed. It offers calming proprioceptive input to the jaw and serves as a safe alternative to chewing on fingers, shirt collars, sleeves, and pencils. The Bite Saber® design features a tactile handle with a smooth "blade" for biting or chewing.
The Amsterdammertje is available in three color-coded strength levels:
- Soft: This is the softest level, recommended for mild chewers who don't chew through objects.
- Extra strong (XT): This is the medium level, which is sturdier but still sufficiently chewable. Ideal for moderate chewers.
- Extra extra strong (XXT): This is the strongest level, which still has some "chewability" to it, but is quite rigid. It's typically the most durable level for avid chewers.
When purchasing this product, you can choose your desired strength from the above menu. Each piece of jewelry is sold separately with an adjustable, safe chain. Color shades may vary slightly.
Proudly made in the USA: This chewable jewelry is designed, manufactured, and assembled in the USA by ARK Therapeutic. It is of medical quality, FDA compliant, and contains no lead, phthalates, PVC, BPA, or latex.
Caution: This product is not a toy. The clasp and cord are not meant for chewing. It contains small parts that could pose a choking hazard - direct supervision is required. Recommended for children aged 5 and older. Although these chew tools are sturdy and durable, no chew tool is indestructible. Their lifespan depends on the amount and intensity of chewing and other variables. Regularly check the product and replace it if necessary when showing signs of wear and tear.
