The Number Tracing Trays 0-9 are an indispensable tool in the educational range of Senso-Care, specially designed to introduce young learners to the basics of numbers and the important concept of the value of zero in an interactive manner. This innovative educational material, part of our "Montessori Premium" collection, provides children from the age of 4 with the opportunity to practice counting and number recognition in a playful way.

The set consists of two wooden trays, each with five compartments, clearly labeled with the numbers 0 to 4 and 5 to 9 in a structured order, allowing children to discover the relationship between numbers and quantities. Notably, the first compartment carries the number 0, introducing children to the concept that zero represents the absence of quantity. This learning moment is crucial and is carefully facilitated by the use of 45 corresponding beech wood spindles, which come separately in a wooden box (available separately), to strengthen the physical representation of numbers.

The spindles, carefully crafted from beech wood, are designed to fit perfectly into the compartments of the trays, allowing children to not only learn counting but also to develop fine motor skills by placing and organizing the spindles in the correct compartments. All this contributes to the understanding of numerical differences and the development of a fundamental mathematical insight.

The dimensions of the spindle boxes are approximately 26.5 x 18.5 x 7.5 cm, and the spindles have a length of about 15.5 cm, making them an ideal size for young children to work with.
